Belmond presents the most exclusive fine-dining restaurant in Bagan right on the Ayeyarwaddy River. Starting from October 2016, the luxury river cruiser Belmond Road to Mandalay will open its doors to a limited number of outside guests on Friday and Saturday evenings for an exclusive dining experience mid-river near Bagan. Diners will have the opportunity to experience Belmond’s signature five-star service and cuisine while enjoying a newly renovated dining venue on the Observation Deck, the largest outdoor space on any ship in Myanmar.

The Road to Mandalay Grill is the perfect spot for an unforgettable meal in one of the country’s most incredible cultural destinations. Guests will be met at the private Belmond Jetty at Taungbi Village near Old Bagan and transferred by open-air ferry boat to Belmond Road to Mandalay where she will be anchored mid-river for the evening. Sip a Belmond Bellini cocktail on the Observation Deck and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the river, away from the tourist crowds. Dine under the stars with traditional musical accompaniment and relax with an after-dinner drink at the outdoor lounge.

The magical dining experience will be available to discerning travellers until March 2017.
