The new resort-themed Mactan Cebu International Airport became operational 1 July with more international flights expected to open in the coming months.

The new terminal boasts 48 check-in counters and 7 passenger boarding bridges. It is also equipped with boarding pass scanners, self-check-in kiosks and expandable check-in counters.
