With up to 40,000 mentions among 1.8 million Instagram posts tagged from ships and ports around the world, Vietnam has ranked in the global Top 15 of the most Instagrammed cruise destinations according to SeaHub, a cruise deal site. Some 10,000 Instagram pictures of Halong Bay alone were posted, according to SeaHub. The UNESCO-listed Halong Bay has always been one of Vietnam’s best-known tourism magnets and many international travel sites have selected the site as one of most amazing natural wonders in Asia. The best time to take a trip to Halong Bay is from April to October.
