Dumaguete is known as the “City of Gentle People” and this tour is a great way to get to know it. You’ll visit the Silliman University campus, explore cultural artifacts and see marine life exhibits. Among the campus’ exhibits are locally excavated artifacts such as the Sung and Ming porcelain. Try some of the local treats like fried ice cream along the Rizal Boulevard which is the city’s seafront promenade! Along the way, also check out some of the city’s historical landmarks, watch some artisans demonstrate their skills, and visit the beautiful Bacong Church and its belfry which is said to be the tallest in the province.
