Start the journey at the Houay Soum Waterfall, which features two different levels you can actually walk through. After a refreshing swim, trek to the Bee Nest Cliff where you’ll be amazed by the bees gathering to build their nest on the cliff. To finish the first day on a high note, trek to the top of Papak Mountain to enjoy the awesome view around your fire camp.
The second day begins by crossing the Papak mountain forest where you’re sure to meet animals like monkeys, squirrels and a variety of birds. Stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the wild forest vista then keep trekking down to Ban Sanlath to experience the local life of the Khmu people. The adventure’s third day is particularly special as the villagers organise a traditional Laotian Baci ceremony to wish you good luck and thank you for visiting them.
