new international terminal at Wattay Airport

Share

Vientiane’s Wattay International Airport will be officially welcoming a new terminal sometime in July as part of a significant expansion project backed by a concessional low-interest loan from the government of Japan.

The existing international terminal was built to accommodate around 250,000 annual passengers, however current passenger numbers are much higher. With the new terminal, the airport will be able to better meet increases in demand while ensuring convenience and safety.
