Nong Khiaw and the nearby Muang Ngoi village in Laos are two small riverside communities famous for their undeveloped mountain scenery on the Nam Ou River. On this 3-day tour guests hike for two of the days through jungle and mountains to visit and stay in traditional Hmong, Lao Leum and Khmu villages. Toward the end of the adventure, we move from the mountains to the river experiencing local life along the Nam Ou. With a river cruise, homestay at a charming riverside village, refreshing dips in natural waterfalls and more, the three days of discovery are designed to showcase the best local experiences in the region.
