Hang out with the locals at Siem Reap’s 60 Road

Share

When the sun sets over the majestic temples of Angkor National Park, its time to make your way to the streets of Siem Reap to explore what’s on offer in town. While many travellers hit the night markets or famous Pub Street, those looking for something more adventurous head to 60 Road located a 15-minute drive from downtown. Here locals go to hang out every evening after 17:00.

Wander down the road – where it’s you who will be the tourist attraction –lined with mats for hire and street food hawkers to eat your fill of authentic Cambodian-style BBQ. With a bit of luck you might make a few new Khmer friends and be invited to a private home for a cup of refreshing green tea.
