stay at the new areca hotel penang

Share

The new Sino-Portuguese inspired Areca Hotel Penang recently opened in February 2017 situated across twelve shophouses in a private enclave along Khoo Sian Ewe Road, directly opposite the Majestic Theatre. The original pre-war shophouses were once owned by the esteemed Khoo Sian Ewe, a philanthropic businessman, landowner and, during his time, one of the wealthiest men in Penang. The charming hotel’s convenient location offers travellers the opportunity to experience all the rich history and vibrant culture that Georgetown has to offer. It is a family hotel with 48 rooms ranging from spacious family suites and cosy garden rooms to luxurious heritage rooms. Additional facilities include a children’s room, conference/meeting room, library and computer lounge.
