Apo Island is a community-organized protected marine sanctuary just off Zamboanguita’s coast, and it’s easy to get to from Dumaguete. Go snorkeling and get to see all kinds of different kinds of coral and reef fish, some beautiful sea turtles in the feeding ground might even be on sight! Plus, have a picnic lunch while you’re there, and spend more time snorkelling before returning to the mainland.
