Continuing your journey just two hours drive from Hpa An is a well-known destination, Mawlamyaing. To reach the town, take a boat from Hpa An along the Thanlwin river to enjoy the beautiful scenery, natural mountains and hills. Mawlamyaing, an ancient capital of Mon State, is the third largest city of the country and was used to be the main trading centre and seaport in southeastern Burma.<\/p>\n
