The countries have agreed to work together to develop both countries\u2019 tourism sectors as part of a five-year master plan to double the value of bilateral trade and investment to 10 billion USD. The first action will be to boost and promote activities by private and publics firms around the four bridges linking the two countries (Nong Khai-Vientiane, Mukdahan-Savannakhet, Nakhon Phanom-Tha Khaek and Chiang Rai-Houay Xai).
