There\u2019s the \u2018taho\u2019 vendor with his concoction of soft tofu sweetened with <em>arnibal<\/em> and garnished with pearl <em>sago<\/em>, the makeshift stalls laden with native \u2018take home\u2019 lunch meals, and the ubiquitous Chinese pastry called <em>hopia<\/em> which are the perfect treat.<\/p>\n<p>It is in this one stretch of busy street that Bourdain savoured his first Philippine culinary experience which led him to explore more about the country.
