An Overview of Your Adventure

Day 1

– Travel from Bacolod Airport and check in at the hotel.

Day 2

– Indulge in the city’s famous savory beef sour stew, “Cansi,” slow-cooked for hours.
– Delight in Napoleones, a well-loved puff pastry specialty of the city.
– Discover Manokan Country, also known as “Chicken Country,” home to the ever-famous Chicken Inasal or grilled chicken.
– Experience a hands-on workshop in making wind chimes at the Handmade Gallery.
– Have dinner at Lanai by Fresh Start.

Day 3

– Explore the 7-hectare organic aquaculture farm, where various activities take place.
– Participate in a hands-on workshop preparing lunch while learning about pond farming.
– Enjoy a 10-course lunch meal.
– Experience stone art or single-wire art by a local artist at Silay City Art Space and Showroom.
– Have dinner at one of the ancestral homes in Silay City.

Day 4

– Travel to Bago City, known as the “Home of Historical and Natural Treasures” and the “Rice Granary of Negros Occidental.”
– Experience jewelry making with Tumandok Craft Industries.
– Have lunch with the farmers at the Mailum Organic Village Association and learn the traditional process of making pinipig (flattened rice crisps).
– Learn about Criollo cacao at Fadriga Farm.
– Have dinner at Lanai by Fresh Start.

Day 5

– Spend the day at leisure.

Day 6

– Explore the Suyac Island Mangrove Eco-Park, home to the 32,000-hectare Sagay Marine Reserve.
– Taste the MasterChef-featured young kinilaw (local ceviche) and create your own version.
– Ride a trisikad (a three-wheeled bicycle) through the city while discovering fun local trivia along the way.
– Enjoy a coffee break around the area before heading back to Bacolod City.

Day 7

– Experience a farm-to-cup coffee trail paired with a glutinous rice snack called “suman.”
– Choose from easy to extreme trails while experiencing selective harvesting, sugar testing, and bean selection.
– Explore Murcia, featuring an organic farm where a coffee cupping activity takes place.

Day 8

– Explore the heritage houses situated in the towns of Talisay and Silay.
– Experience painting Calatrava bags and interact with local artists in the town.
– Have lunch at one of the ancestral homes in Silay.
– Wander through the oldest ancestral home, “Balay ni Tana Dicang.”
– Discover “The Ruins,” dubbed the Taj Mahal of the Philippines.

Day 9

– Travel back to Manila.
