head outside of Bangkok for a taste of the real Thailand with a cooking class and garden tour

Soon after arriving at your host’s beautiful garden home in Samut Sakhorn province, you’ll be in her garden picking Thai herbs like chili, basil, kaffir lime, lemongrass and coriander – everything you’ll need for the day’s lunch! Your cooking lesson will last about 2-3 hours during which your host will share the secrets of a number of famous Thai dishes including how to cook sweet green curry from scratch, even pressing the coconut milk from fresh coconuts. You will then share the authentic home-cooked Thai meal at the dining table over chilled beer. Some of the specialties include grilled mushrooms tossed with basil, chili, shallots and then steamed in banana leaves, and stir-fried shrimp with garlic, white pepper seeds and coriander root.
