Arrive in Xiamen, a beautiful coastal city in southeast China, where you’ll be greeted by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast the next morning, begin your city tour with interesting stops at Gulangyu Island, the romantically scenic South Putuo Temple and Xiamen University, and Hulishan Fort.

The next day, drive from Xiamen City to Nanjing County, for the opportunity to visit iconic tulou, traditional earthen houses, in the famous ‘Snail Pit’ village of Tian Luo Keng. Stop by the Huaiyuan Building and Hegui Building, representatives of the region’s round and square building styles, before staying overnight in Yongding.

On the fourth day, explore more of the tulou at the World Cultural Heritage Site of Yongding Hakka Tulou, also known as Hongkeng Hakla Tulou, which boasts more than 40 magnificent tulou buildings of different shapes and sizes. After the tulou tour, transfer back to Xiamen.

Following breakfast on the final day, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
