Prior\u00a0to joining the Diethelm team, Marek spent more than five years living and\u00a0working in Myanmar, as well as four in Ireland and two in Thailand in\u00a0positions\u00a0with companies such as Pandaw River Expeditions, Tour Mandalay and\u00a0Accenture\/Microsoft. He was also involved in many exciting tourism projects\u00a0such as\u00a0the launch of Riverside @ Hsipaw Resort and Oriental Ballooning, and the development\u00a0of Myanmar Andaman Resort. He holds a Master of\u00a0Philosophy in International\u00a0Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, a B.A. In Political Science from SWPS\u00a0University of Social Sciences and Humanities in\u00a0Poland and an Executive\u00a0Certificate in Tourism &amp; Hospitality from Glion Institute of Higher\u00a0Education in Switzerland.
