The centre recently received\u00a013\u00a0elephants that were rescued from being sold abroad. Originally trained to perform degrading circus\u00a0tricks, the elephants which range between the ages of 5 &#8211; 47, will now be enjoying life amongst the\u00a0centre&#8217;s already existing herd of 16. While it\u2019s an incredible opportunity, the new elephants do put\u00a0financial pressures on the centre so they\u2019re running a crowdsourced fundraising campaign to support\u00a0the elephant\u2019s proper care.
