An Overview of Your Adventure
Day 1
Witness the spectacular orangutan feeding and hear about conservation initiatives. The Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre is a must-see. After lunch, take a picturesque boat ride down the Kinabatangan River to Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Enjoy a wildlife-spotting river cruise, followed by a candlelight supper and informative presentations.
Day 2
Begin your day with a river excursion to Kelenap Ox-Bow Lake, which is teaming with birds and fauna. A naturalist guide will take you on a tour of the Hornbill Boardwalk. Set off on another spectacular river trip in the afternoon.
Day 3
Begin the day with a tranquil electric motor-powered river boat on the Menanggol River to view animals. After lunch, visit Gomantong Cave to see the amazing evacuation of over two million bats and raptors.
Day 4
Return to Sandakan in preparation for a trip to Kota Kinabalu. Explore the Rainforest Discovery Centre with its canopy walk, swinging bridge, and botanical garden if you have an evening flight. Before you go, pay a visit to Sandakan Memorial Park.
