Day 1
The itinerary begins with crossing the Laos-Cambodia border at Trapeang Kreal. There you’ll meet your private guide on the Cambodian side. The day includes a drive to Stung Treng, lunch at a local restaurant, a visit to the Carol Cassidy Silk Weaving Centre, and then check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Begin your day with a drive to the remarkable ancient Khmer temples of Preah Vihear, perched on Dong Rek Mountain and spanning over 700 meters on the Dangrek Mountains’ summit. After exploring, savour lunch at a local eatery. On the way to Siem Reap, don’t miss the chance to visit the awe-inspiring Koh Ker Temple, featuring a massive seven-tier sandstone-faced pyramid. Finally, if you’ve also booked one, you’ll check-in at your Siem Reap hotel to conclude the day.
