The Philippines is bursting at the seams with culture. Whether you head north to the mountains of Sagada, or down to Cebu’s metropolis, it’s all alive with history, nature, and locals.
The Philippines has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons:
Rainy Season | June to November
This is the time when nature is at its most vibrant. The lush landscapes and waterfalls in places like Banaue, Batad, and Sagada in Luzon are particularly beautiful during this time. Additionally, if you're interested in surfing, Siargao Island offers excellent waves.
Dry Season | December to May
This is also the peak season. The perfect time for exploring the stunning beaches and islands, like Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol.
Because of the country’s colonial past and archipelagic landscape, Filipino culture has become an interesting mix of foreign and indigenous influences, and most explorers find that culture can be vastly different from region to region.
